As explained in our Statement of Faith, NorthLife Church practices baptism by "immersion of the believer in water, whereby he obeys Christ’s command and sets forth his identification with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection." We believe this to be the only correct form of baptism to the exclusion of others ("sprinkling", or "baby baptism"), and it is a requirement for membership.
For a more thorough explanation about why NorthLife takes this stance, you are invited to listen to Pastor Les's sermon, "Meaningful Baptism".
Because of the importance we place in baptism, NorthLife regularly schedules baptisms throughout the year. In order to be baptized at NorthLife, we ask that you complete a self-study book regarding baptism (available upon request from the office). You will then be interviewed by a pastor, and then scheduled for baptism. For more information, please feel free to contact us.
