Instructions for prayer booklet.
Trace your left and right hand. Make sure all fingers are closed.
Trace around the hands and the thumb. This will be your front and back cover. Use different colours of construction paper, and use the template from the cover to cut out more hand shapes. These will be the pages of your prayer booklet.
On the back of the Front Cover - Write Praise God or Thank you God - we must remember to thank God first or Praise Him first, for waking up, for giving us our day etc...
ON the inside Back Cover write Thank you God. We always want to remember to Thank God for listening to us and for giving us our day.
Then on each page of the booklet, take a white piece of paper and write down what you are going to pray for according to the 5 finger prayer card.
Take the white pieces of paper and glue them to the center of the paper.
Punch two holes into all the pages, and tie them together with yarn. You can also decorate the front and back covers of your prayer booklet. This book will help you remember who and what to pray for each day. Just because you have certain things to pray for now, you may have to add other things to pray for later. So leave room to write those down. Don't forget to send us a Picture. This way you can show everyone what your prayer booklet looks like.
