Online Services Through May 16
Dear brothers and sisters of NorthLife,
As you are already aware, the Corona virus has increased its presence in our RMWB community and the rate of infection is still climbing quickly. The elders and I met to discuss what to do going forward with regard to our services and meetings. At the moment, the hospital in Fort McMurray is overwhelmed and we are concerned for its ability to serve our community efficiently. Also, more of our own church body are becoming sick. In light of this, although the government has not told us to close our churches, we feel it prudent to not have services or in person ministry meetings for the next 3 weeks until this surge passes by. We will resume regular services and meetings on May 23, 2021.
We ask that you would support us in this decision to safeguard our church families and to assist in keeping numbers down in the hospital. Please continue to pray for those who are sick, for the hospital workers and other medical frontline workers, and that God will have mercy to remove the virus from our city. I pray that God will give us strength in moving forward together.
May God continue to bless you and keep you,
